I'm considering the purchase of a shih tzu, and I have a question about inner-breeding. The pup's mother and father are half brother and sister. The breeder informed me that they're hasn''t been any other cross breeding in the pup's blood line. Should I be concerned that the dog could develop medical problems from the brother-half sister relationship?

I am looking for a reputable Chinese Shar-pei breeder in the Arkansas Area. I am looking for a Male or Female (Blue coat-grey coat?. I have a 1yr old male Fawn colored. His name is Oscar Blue Two Shoes. I have all of the necessary documentatio on him and his dam and sire. I might also be interested in "stud service" but would like to know a little bit more about what is involved and required. Can you help?
